Project 3--A New Classroom Building
Our next challenge is to build a new classroom building for the Prey Tauch Village Primary School. There is currently only one 9-room classroom building for 750 primary school children. To accommodate all the children the school is forced to run two shifts--morning and afternoon--so each child can only go to school for half days. With a new classroom building the children will be able to go to school full days. |

Planning for the New Classroom
The land for the new building has been donated by the temple that is adjacent to the school. The land needs to be drained at a cost of about $3500. Village and school officials have had meetings to determine the specifications for the new building:
- 9 classrooms
- 1 library
- 1 bathroom
- Cost--$49,000
