Projects

| The goal of the fund is to support the children and their future through education. The fund has sponsored two projects so far, both for the village of Prey Tauch, west of Battambang, Cambodia. Our next project is to help with the construction of a new classroom building. The reason both projects are so successful is because of the strong Cambodian connection and direct input from the village. Not only do our advisors tell us what the village needs, but also they follow through on the purchases, finding the best prices and organizing the celebration.

| Project 2, January 2008--In January 2008 we distributed packages to each of the 720 school children in the Prey Tauch primary school. Each child received a school shirt, flip flops, a notebook and a pen. Click here to learn more. |

| Our Next Project-- The highest priority for the people of Prey Tauch is a classroom building for the school. There is currently one building with 9 classrooms for about 750 children. There are two shifts, so the average class size is 40. Our goal is to build another building with 9 classrooms, a library and a bathroom. This will enable the children to attend school for a full day, instead of a half day. Click here for more information. |
