CHUM Davin

Davin graduated from Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University (SBUBB), majoring in English Literature. She currently teaches English at USA International School and also teaches English part time at SBUBB. In addition, Davin is studying for a Master's Degree at SBUBB.
Davin was born on 09 May 2001 at Koh Ream Village, Khnach Romeas Commune, Bavel District, Battambang Province. She is the second of three children in her family. Her parents are farmers. After graduation, she wants to live in her home village.
Davin tells us that many young girls drop out of school and have no choice but to work in garment factories in the city or immigrate to Thailand or Malaysia working as maids or fruit collectors in the farms. And these are the lucky ones. Many girls can't fine employment at all.
