Lisa became a scholarship student in February 2022 after graduating from Moung Ruessei High School. She was born on 8 Nov. 2004 in Kear Commune, Moung Ruessei District. Lisa’s parents left for Thailand when she was 7 years old to support the family by working in a meat processing plant. They return home only once a year. Lisa and her younger brother live with their grandmother, who has no income. Her older sister works for a non-profit organization is married. A scholarship for college is a big opportunity for Lisa to improve her job and earning options in the future. She studies Marketing at the National University of Battambang, so she can start her own business.
