Socheata was born on 01 February, 2000 in Entejet Village, and joined our Scholarship program in October 2018 after completing high school. In 2023 she graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Management and Economics where she majored in Marketing. She also has a degree in English from Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University in Battambang. She works as an Insurance Specialist for Manulife in Battambang. Socheata is saving money to start her own business. She also supports her family. Socheata's older sister dropped out of school in the 11th grade. Her younger sister is currently in school. Her father, who is in poor health, is a teacher. Her mother passed away in 2023.

Socheata says that getting a college education is the key to have bright future.
