KIM Sreymao
Year 4

Sreymao joined our scholarship program in December 2019 after she passed the high school exam. She was born on 21 January 2000.  She lives in the Cambodian Village Fund Dormitory with the other scholarship students. She is currently studying Law at the University of Management and Economics, with the goal of becoming a lawyer.  Her father has been disabled since Sreymao was 6 years old.  Her mother, a farmer, is the sole breadwinner for the family.  Sreymao is the youngest daughter in her family.  She has 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Sreymao went to primary school at Bill and Nancy Kaun Khlong Primary School, middle school at Prey Touch Secondary School and high school at Sangker High School. She is a hard working student who gets up early to get to school on time, pays attention in class and respects the school rules. She does her homework, often with a school study group.  When she is not going to school or studying, Sreymao helps with chores at home and reads books.

Sreymao receives financial help from the Gendercide Awareness Project.
