Join us this December for a guided journey to Cambodia, an experience that brings you face-to-face with the impact of your support.
Core Trip: Phnom Penh & Battambang – Dec 3–15, 2026
Optional Extension: Siem Reap & Angkor Wat – Dec 15–20, 2026
You’ll begin your trip in Phnom Penh, where you’ll explore Cambodia’s modern history and share a memorable dinner with our scholarship graduates.
Our second stop is Battambang and Prey Touch Village, the community CVF directly supports. Exploring a rural village off-the-beaten path is something few tourists experience. Here, you will connect directly with Cambodian communities in a meaningful way by visiting rural schools built with CVF support, where children are eager to practice their English. You will meet scholarship students and witness firsthand the impact of 20 years of partnership. Beyond these deep personal connections, you will also experience regional wonders like ancient hilltop temples and the unforgettable nightly flight of millions of bats.
Extend your journey to Siem Reap to experience Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, and explore Cambodia’s rich ancient heritage alongside its more recent history.
This isn’t just a trip, it’s a powerful, personal look at lives changing and communities moving forward. It’s a journey you’ll never forget.

A Note from Zion Dyson, Program Director
It has been a pleasure to put together the itinerary for this trip. Not only do I get to share the work of CVF, but I also get to welcome you to the country I now call my home.
The itinerary includes group activities and meals, but leaves plenty of free time to relax and enjoy Battambang. You will have opportunities to work directly with our students and participate in events with CVF students and staff.
I crafted lists of my favorite activities and restaurants to help Cambodia feel like your home, too!
I hope you will join me in Battambang, where time slows down, fruit tastes like candy, positivity is infectious, and a simple smile is worth a thousand words.

A Note From Bill and Nancy
As we look back on nearly two decades of the Cambodian Village Fund, some of our most memorable experiences have been the many group trips we have organized. We love introducing friends to this beautiful country and to the extraordinary people who live there. By welcoming travelers to witness our work firsthand, we can raise awareness and build genuine connections that inspire support, helping CVF to expand its impact and bring lasting change to the communities it serves.
Cambodia is home to some of the most remarkable and exotic sites in the world. Anyone who has visited Angkor Wat knows it is unforgettable. Yet when we ask travelers what they enjoyed most about our trip, their answers are rarely about the temples. Instead, they talk about going to the villages, seeing the schools we’ve built, watching children learn, and being invited into the childhood homes of the scholarship girls where we meet the family.
Traveling with us means experiencing the real Cambodia—meeting the people, sharing local cuisine, and seeing firsthand how Cambodian families live. Cambodia is known for the warmth and kindness of its people, and by the end of the trip you will understand exactly why.
Our personal highlight of the trip is the reunion party where our Cambodian friends and families, current scholarship students and scholarship graduates come together to CELEBRATE! After dancing the night away, we say our goodbyes and wait until we meet again.
These are the moments that make our trip special. You’ll know what a caring community looks like. And you’ll feel the real joy of changing lives.

What Travelers Say About Previous Trips
“Certainly, a highlight was our visit to the elementary school in Kaun Khlong we had helped support. At the school dedication ceremony, our group was introduced to the area officials, school officials, parents and the children.” Sharilyn Gallison, member of Soroptimist International of La Jolla
“We went to Cambodia on a tour led by Nancy and Bill and were able to see first hand the improvements being accomplished through the CVF.” Randy and Mimi Moore
“The highlight of the trip was meeting the scholarship girls and visiting the Kaun Khlong Primary School and meeting the students. We also visited the village and saw the students’ homes and met their families. Bill and Nancy topped it all off by arranging a big party for the entire village and school, with music and dancing and the chance to meet some of the parents.” Nua and Mike Shores
