Born 7-December 2005 in Prey Domrey Village, Alita joined our scholarship program in January 2024 after graduating from Sangke High School.  After 3 semesters at the National University of Battambang, Alita received a scholarship to study nursing at the Battambang Regional Training Center for Health. After completing this 3-year program, Alita will look for a job as a nurse.

Alita has a younger sister and 2 younger twin brothers. Her father passed away when Alita was 12. Her mother is a housewife and a farmer.

She applied for a CVF scholarship because “it’s a good program for students who don’t have enough money to study at university. A good education will help me escape poverty.” With a good job, she will help her sister and brothers pay for their education.

Alita is fluent in English, having studied English for 5 years at the CVF English Language program and continuing English at HDLF, a private English school.
