Rathana was born in Kaun Khlong Village on 06 January 2006. She joined the Cambodian Village Fund scholarship program in November 2025 after graduating from Sangke High School at the age of 19. She has 2 sisters. The family lives on a small plot of land where Rathana’s father grows vegetables. Rathana applied for a scholarship because her family’s income is very low and they cannot afford the costs of college. She is studying Marketing at Build Bright University with the goal of becoming a businesswoman. She lives in the CVF dormitory.
